Effective date: September 6, 2026
Legal entity: Iron Beard Roofing LLC, doing business as Texas Elite Metal Roofing (referred to below as "we", "us" or "Texas Elite Metal Roofing").
This policy explains what information we collect through texaseliteroofs.com, why we collect it, and who it is and is not shared with. We are a roofing contractor, not a data business. We collect the minimum needed to answer your request and quote your job.
1. Information we collect
When you submit a form on this website, we collect what you type into it:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- City
- Service requested
- Project details (optional. The form works whether or not you fill this in.)
- Your SMS consent selection, meaning whether you opted in to receive text messages (optional).
Our server also records two things automatically with each submission:
- IP address of the device that submitted the form.
- Date and time of the submission.
We record these two items for a specific and limited reason: they let us detect and block automated spam, and together with your SMS consent selection they form the record of when and from where consent was given. We do not use them to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, bank details or payment card numbers through this website. Please do not send them to us through the contact form.
2. How we use your information
We use what you submit to respond to your request and to quote your roofing work. In practice that means:
- Calling or emailing you back about the roof you asked about.
- Scheduling and performing an inspection or assessment.
- Preparing an estimate and, if you go ahead, carrying out and warrantying the work.
- Sending you text messages, but only if you separately opted in. See section 3.
- Keeping records we are required to keep, including proof of consent.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it to lead brokers, marketing partners or anyone else.
3. Text messages (SMS)
This section describes our text messaging practices and applies to every text message we send.
Text messages are sent only to people who opted in. The website form has a single SMS consent checkbox. It is optional, it is never pre-ticked, and it is not required in order to submit the form. Ticking it is the only thing that authorizes text messages. If you did not tick it, we will not send you text messages.
By ticking the SMS consent checkbox, you give your express written consent to receive text messages from Texas Elite Metal Roofing at the phone number you provided, regarding your roof inquiry, quotes, and offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance.
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving messages. We do not control and are not responsible for those charges.
To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at TxRoofDoc@gmail.com or (254) 749-4202.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier's network and on your device.
Mobile opt-in data is never shared or sold
Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent are never shared with, sold to, rented to, or otherwise disclosed to any third party, for any purpose. This includes affiliates, marketing partners, advertisers, lead buyers, data brokers and any other outside party. No third party receives your mobile opt-in data or your SMS consent status at any time, under any circumstances. The only exception is a service provider acting solely on our behalf strictly to transmit the messages you asked to receive, and such a provider is prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.
SMS consent is separate and is never required
SMS consent is separate from every other service we provide, and it is never required. You do not need to agree to receive text messages in order to submit the contact form, request an inspection, receive an estimate, have work performed, or make a warranty claim. Declining SMS, or opting out later, will not affect the price, the availability, the scheduling or the quality of any service we provide to you. Your consent to text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
This website uses cookies and similar technologies to measure website traffic and to understand whether our advertising is working. Two services do this: Google Analytics 4, configured using Google Consent Mode v2, and the Meta Pixel.
These run by default from the moment the site loads. We do not ask you to accept them first. Instead we tell you they are running and give you a working control to turn them off, which you can use at any time. This is an opt-out, not an opt-in.
What they collect
Google Analytics 4 records aggregate information such as pages viewed, approximate geographic region, referring website, device type and browser.
The Meta Pixel records that a visit or an action happened on this site, so that we can measure how our Facebook and Instagram advertising performs and show ads to people who have already visited this website. That second use is commonly called retargeting.
Neither service receives your name, phone number, email address, or anything you typed into the contact form. Form submissions are never sent to Google or to Meta.
How to opt out
You can opt out at any time, in either of two places:
- The "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" button on the notice that appears at the bottom of the page.
- The "Cookie settings" control in the footer of every page, which reopens that notice whenever you want it.
When you opt out, both of the following happen:
- Google Consent Mode v2 is updated to denied for all four signals: analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data and ad personalization. Google Analytics stops writing analytics and advertising cookies and stops sending advertising identifiers.
- The Meta Pixel is switched into Limited Data Use (LDU) mode rather than being removed. In LDU mode, Meta restricts how it processes and stores information about you, in line with United States state privacy laws.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage, on that device and in that browser only. If you use a different browser or a different device, make the choice again there. The same control also lets you turn measurement back on if you change your mind.
Opting out does not change the website. Every page, the contact form and the phone number work exactly the same either way.
This cookie opt-out is a separate mechanism from the SMS consent described in section 3, and the two do not affect each other. Opting out of cookies does not stop text messages, and stopping text messages does not opt you out of cookies. To stop text messages, reply STOP as described in section 3. Your mobile opt-in data is never passed to Google or to Meta.
5. Third parties we use
We keep the list short on purpose. These are the only outside services involved in running this website:
- Resend delivers the contact form submission to our inbox as an email. It processes the contents of your submission only to transmit that one message to us.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate website statistics. It runs by default when the site loads, and you can turn it off at any time using the cookie notice or the "Cookie settings" control in the footer, as described in section 4.
- Meta provides advertising measurement and retargeting for our Facebook and Instagram advertising, through the Meta Pixel. It also runs by default. If you opt out, the pixel switches to Limited Data Use mode, as described in section 4.
- Hostinger hosts this website and its server logs.
None of these third parties receives mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information. Mobile opt-in data is not passed to Resend, is not passed to Google Analytics, is not passed to Meta, is not passed to Hostinger for any purpose beyond ordinary server operation, and is not passed to anyone else.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to answer your request, perform any work you hire us for, honour any warranty attached to that work, and meet our record keeping and tax obligations. Records of consent, including SMS opt-in and opt-out, are kept for as long as we are required to be able to evidence them. When information is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete it.
7. Your choices and your rights
You can, at any time:
- Stop text messages by replying STOP to any message.
- Ask us to stop contacting you entirely, by phone, email or text.
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
To make any of these requests, email TxRoofDoc@gmail.com or call (254) 749-4202. Please tell us the name, phone number or email address you used so we can find your record. We will respond within a reasonable period, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.
Texas residents, and residents of other states with applicable privacy laws, may have additional rights under those laws. We honour the requests listed above regardless of where you live.
8. Children
This website is intended for property owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted over that encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit what we collect and who can reach it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text messaging will be reflected here and in the consent language on the form.
